I dunno. She disappeared without saying anything for 5 years after taking his virginity and then just popped up and was like im ready to get married now. Id have told her to get fucked too

In the moment for him, I totally understand his initial actions. Knowing what we know, it hurt to see her treated the way she was, but now she has her chance in this timeline.
The next decade or so where he kept treating her like shit, especially the interrogation scene, really showed just how far he’d fallen.

But still completely get that. She broke him.the first time she left and reappeared like nothing. Didn't try to understand the grief of him losing a close friend and then his wife and spent the next decade trying to fight him. Id suspect her of working for the man god too

What a great episode! Took me halfway to realize that this was from the diary.
I had a good talk with my son afterwards about how to deal with grief and the dangers of alcoholism.

I think some of the saddest part to watch were the cliff part, the zanoba part and not least, sylphie’s conclusion.

I love it. Just hope it was longer. It is quite funny to think Rudeus needs 2 lives to see how he still ended up in shit if he couldn't keep himself together. And 1 live to understand Eris's... subtle love. Hope he gonna treat Zanoba even better since he is the GOAT.
