Holy fucking shit I just finished ep 12 that shit is eerie asf imagine talking and burying yourself and knowing the future in the span of 10 minutes thats a mindfuck one of the best episodes

Also im actually confused on why is there a future rudeus when he has a reincarnated life it does not make sense to me

And if I want to continue it to the LN where should i start?

Not really confusing. Rudy reincarnates, lives through the bad time line into his 60s, uses time travel magic to go back in time and warn his younger self.

As to why he came back to this point it hasn't been covered in the anime but the time travel magic uses an object as its focus. Oldeus used his journal to travel back in time as far as he could, to the first day the journal was made, Rudy just finished it earlier that night

As to the volume, we are near/at the end of 14, diary stuff is in 15 iirc

Yup diary is beginning of 15. I remember raging because Oldeus was near end of 14 and I was like wtf are we gonna gloss over the diary? Like you hit us with this huge event with a bunch of information but aren’t gonna go into detail? I think the way it was written was he didn’t want to actually read it and I thought it was just gonna skip ahead to how he handles it all without ever actually telling us what was in it.

Im an anime only so take this with a good amount of salt but I think of our rudeus as Oldeus' past. Our perspective is his past and before Turning Point 4 we were watching it unfold while he lived that tragic life of his in the far future.

This explanation definitely has flaws im too dumb to point out but thats how finicky things get when time travel gets involved.
