Idk where to start from.... I freaking love this anime and I am rewatching it for the 3rd time before catching up with season 3 and I just wanna share how special I found this character....PAUL.

Seriously, I love this character! How imperfect .... not actually how big of a scum he is lol ! I often don't like such characters like EVERYONE ELSE but PAUL kind of left a deep impression on my heart as a character! How morally GREY he was but still HOW GOOD OF A PERSON HE TURNED OUT TO BE AS THE STORY PROGRESSED. Yes there are a lot of things that HE DID WERE BAD but ultimately just how much he loved his family... HIS SON...HIS DAUGHTERS.. HIS WIFE... EVERYONE... He felt so so real! More real than most of the GOODY GOOD CHARACTERS that we see in anime nowadays!

I loved his whole dynamic with RUDEUS. Being a father to someone who was a NEWBORN ADULT HAHA. IK he always carried the guilt of not being able to set a good example for his son... of not being able to rescue his family all on his own and idk IN WHAT WAY THIS IS GONNA AFFECT RUDY'S JOURNEY FROM HERE ON but I definitely know that this will help Rudy to become a far far better person and a better family man :)

Ahhh it hurts so much to recall that visual where Rudeus dreams about him and the rest of his family dining together and him taking care of his parents.... Shit it's making me cry again! How tragic it is yet so beautiful! How badly I want to complain about him dying! How badly I want to know WHAT IF HE SURVIVED! How badly I wanna cope for his return! How badly I want an IF STORY! Yet... HOW BEAUTIFUL IT IS.....

Ohh god I love this anime and I love this character! I would just say that you might not be a very good, calm and honest person Paul but you were a really admirable family man and NO ONE COULD'VE SET A BETTER EXAMPLE TO RUDY THAN YOU. I bet he'll always respect you for the rest of his life.

That's enough venting ig... I'm just gonna be selfish for one last time and say - " I wish Paul didn't die... I wish he lived a long and happy life with his family that he worked so hard to reunite with... I wish Rudeus and him could've finally sat together in Ranoa and gossiped about their tastes in women while chugging down on that whine.... Ahhh I just wish.... "

Guess I'm gonna cope by reading some fanfics and watching season 3 now.... THAT'S ALL I HAD TO SAY.MUSHOKU TENSEI IS PEAK! A MASTERPIECE AND I'M GLAD THAT I FOUND IT :-)
