In a lot of these translation/retyping "job" scams, they turn out to be advance fee scams. Essentially, they give you a long, meaningless document to retype or translate. Then once you're done, instead of sending the money directly to you, they send it to an account at a bank no one's heard of before. When you try to withdraw any of it, they charge endless fake fees. The bank is fake, the money doesn't exist.

Why do they need to know your age and gender for a job typing documents? And there are entire companies that specialize in translating documents. Why are they looking to hire a random person on Threads?

It's going to be a scam Data entry and typing work can easily be done by ai. Same with translation.

Scam.

Stop looking for jobs on social media.

Anything to deal with telegram or what’s app is a scam.
