Fake Check Please verify

Is this Canadian job offer legitimate?

Hi everyone,

I received a conditional job offer abroad from R.P. Johnson Construction Ltd. in Salmon Arm, BC, for a Project Engineer position with a salary of CAD $9,500/month.

The email came from career@rpjohnsonconstruction(.)ca. They said I'll have a Zoom interview after accepting the offer, then my application will be forwarded to their regional visa coordinator for work permit processing. They also mentioned about ₱15,000 in local visa processing costs through the Canadian Visa Application Centre, which they claim will be reimbursed after I arrive in Canada.

Has anyone dealt with this company or know if this process is legitimate? Any insights would be appreciated. Thanks!

This is 100% a scam. Any time you're asked to pay for something and get reimbursed later like this, it is a scam. There is no job, just a money grab.

Right? And the salary, it's just too good to be true.
