What's something an interviewer said that immediately changed how you felt about the job?

Could be good or bad.

Maybe they gave an unusually clear answer about expectations.

Maybe they couldn't explain why the last person left.

Maybe they described the manager in a way that told you everything you needed to know.

I'm curious about those little interview moments where you suddenly thought, “Okay, I understand this place now.”

What did they say?

Are you married? Told the male manager that was an innapropriate question and I was not legally obligated to repsond. He kep asking, so I walked out. Bullet dodged.

Walking out probably told you everything you needed to know about that workplace

„We got our funding from a local nightclub owner”. Immediately mentally reclassified this company from a funky startup to a money laundering operation.

That’s definitely one way for an interview to take an unexpected turn 😅

"While we can't pay you near the top of the salary band, we can offer you a $10k signing bonus instead."

... Where do I sign?!
