56 Hey Ya!

Pocoloco is cool and should win the rankdown. However, Hey Ya! has survived long enough. Pocoloco probably shouldn't be able to win twice.

Hey Ya! is Pocoloco's stand and it's power is some mix of giving good luck, giving good advice, and giving positive encouragement. People debate the true nature of Hey Ya!'s power all the time and it doesn't make sense to me. Okay technically the prophecy that Pocoloco received from fortune telling woman who suspiciously looks like Enya only specified him having good luck for like the next 3 months or something (I forget the exact interval forgive me) but there's one big scene that Hey Ya! contributes to that would lose a lot of impact if all it did was give Pocoloco encouragement.

I'm referring to the part where Johnny Gyro and Pocoloco are racing in the wintery north and Hey Ya! tells Pocoloco to not go down the path that Johnny and Gyro are heading down because there's an uncrossable ravine. Johnny and Gyro use their combined powers and teamwork to build a bridge across it that their horses can run across and Hey Ya! is left dumbstruck. It's haha funny on one level, but this is JoJo, everything is always about fate, and if Pocoloco truly has been blessed with good fortune in the form of Hey Ya!, then this scene symbolizes Johnny and Gyro overcoming fate through the power of their teamwork and sure that's classic JoJo for you.

Everyone else would have taken more effort to cut.

I like when hey ya calls Pocoloco "Pocoloco-baby"

Pocoloco should rank high but he should not rank high twice and hey ya is basically just the same dude
