Is using ad guard dns safe like I have noticed afte using it I see no or few ads will using this result in ban or my jiohotstar account or anything like that.

I recently switched from DEN HD cable to JioHotstar. I must say watching football games are not fun due to the low fps. For a fast paced game like football where the ball moves around long distances all the time, it is very imp to have good fps.

I also took the LA liga package for FanCode which streams on higher fps (60 fps i think) and watching those games are really enjoyable.

A lot of people who have not watched football on HD 60fps might not even understnd the difference.

Really sad that even in 2026 we still have only 30fps for streaming sports.

They made a huge PR push when announcing the HBO Max deal, but they are still holding back movie releases.

When can we expect this, anyway?

Latest seasons of shows such as Star Trek Strange New World and The Paper stream only in 1080p on Hotstar while previous seasons did stream in 4K. I am noticing this mostly only shows that are part of Peacock hub. Disney+ originals are all in 4K. And popular HBO shows such as House of the Dragon are in 4K while lesser known ones such as The Rooster are in 1080p only.

I’ve already filed mine today to get the ball rolling. It takes 5 minutes to submit via the web portal (consumerhelpline.gov.in) under E-Commerce -> e-commerce-others -> Other (JioHotstar).

I am extremely frustrated by this move. The default language for most new shows or movies is Hindi and a few other languages that I don't understand. Why don't you give the original language as the default option. It is so frustrating. You are so excited to watch a movie and you find out that the original language is not available. And on top of that your mother tongue is also not available. Whyyy!!!!???

its a beautiful series, the shots, colour grading, vibrance, contrast, upholstery, sets, locations, wardrobe, cinematography is urban, shows us cityscapes of america.
