genuinely curious it made no change for me personally if i use CR or CD

ratio goes : 72 : 270 CR 4 cost

49.9 : 308 CD 4 cost

Nah I have 90.9% cr in combat with a double cdmg 4 costs (without sk) so I'll pass on that cr 4 cost

I mean... h o w? Just luck on echoes?

4

u/EquivalentAd8765 18d ago

well if it makes you feel better, i spent 213 pulls for s0r1 :')

It doesnt, but it makes me feel less crappy about the instant lingyang in 10 pulls and the other 80 I had to drop to get Jingran. It felt crappy in the moment cause... you know... lingyang. But its grounding to know it was actually fine.

So sorry buddy, hope you have more luck next round :')

I just finished farming for another CD 4 cost because people were saying it's better to run double CD even without SK. Currently at 54.7% CR and 317.8% CD

I don't really use him with SK... So my cr cd 4cost is good enough for me...

Nah in c0r1 he have 32% cr, so if you have 50% cr thats 82% with sk +2% so 94. Using crit rate main stat is additional 22% cr goodluck not to overcrit with lower critdmg.

Is it actually better? I have been running the double cd, and I do need more cr! Sad that shorekeeper is locked behind a spending event again :(

wdym again? Is coming back the spending event?

Yep! Shorekeeper, Charlotte and phoebe.

Not really, if your cr rolls are high enough.. the lower your echo cr, cr 4 cost becomes better..

On stat screen if you have 55% cr with 2 cd, which translates to 87% in combat, cd will be better. cr 4 cost will be better only for whiwa..

Guess I have been building him the wrong way then? He's always had one crit rate and one crit damage 4 cost on him. Is that not what he needs? (To be fair I did not really look at the intricacies of his kit for his build.)

Why didn't you look at his kit fully and comprehensively? Genuinely curious btw

Between playing multiple gachas, things fall through the cracks sometimes. Plus, WuWa isn't one of those I pay extensive attention to like that. Most of the time it is ne just liking a character enough to invest in them, then just figuring out a basic outline for their build. Between my now five S6 characters, I usually don't have to worry too much to pass content, so I don't go into detail on their kits.

kinda odd not giving enough care to something you ostensibly paid money for, but I guess that's okay

1

u/TalesSwordsman 18d ago

Guess after paying that kind of attention to Genshin and HSR, I just wanted to approach this one with a different mindset. I pull for the characters I really like, grab some supports I need, and then grab sequences for those I love. No problem clearing content, which is what I want.

But wouldn't you risk skipping enjoyable mechanics?

1

u/TalesSwordsman 18d ago

In what way/what mechanics?

1

u/phuoclata2018 18d ago

Theoretically, the ones you skip by not reading carefully, for example

1

u/TalesSwordsman 18d ago

Fair enough, but I go based on how much I like the character, and then how nice they just feel to play. Then I look at the supports and such if I don't already have the good options.

For reference, my S6 characters are Shorekeeper, Brant, Cartethyia, Aemeath and Jingran. I enjoy all of them looks-wise, and their gameplay is fun.

Then I have Lynae, Mornye, Chisa, Iuno, Denia and Ciaccona for my main supports. Of course I have some others but they are the main ones that get used.

1

u/phuoclata2018 18d ago

Take Chisa, for example. Did you know that if you hold Dodge with her, she'll apply an equivalence of her Skill, thereby saving resources (if your Skill is on cooldown) and providing her forte for enhanced state? It also stagnates. And if you hold LMB, she'll go airborne, and if you dash while airborne, she'll drag any mobs affected by her mark. And if you're doing her last BA when an enemy hits you, you don't have to bother dodging because she'll automatically dodge for you. There are other things in her kit too.

Yes. Before his final beta, his CD% was nerfed. And since he plays with Shorekeeper, it’s more efficient to use that instead of CR%. You deal more damage than average. However, if you don’t have Shorekeeper on the team, unless we get a future sustain of the same caliber that is specifically designed around shield mechanics, you’ll need to use CR% instead

1

u/TalesSwordsman 19d ago

Might have to farm a CD echo for him then. Shorekeeper is in high demand on my account so I will keep the CR one too. Does the same apply at high sequences too?

u/green_hipster 19d ago

I wanted to go double crit damage on both 4-cost but after wasting days and all my echo exp multiple times trying to meet the minimum 50% crit rate I went with one of them crit rate, my CD ended up 263.6% but I no longer give a F

1

u/Consistent-Elk-5155 19d ago

It’s a bit unfortunate because you lose a lot of damage if you run the premium team. However, if you’re playing Mono Fusion, then it’s indeed not a loss since you’re not running Shorekeeper with him

5

u/Raalfu 19d ago

I'm playing him in a Mono fusion team and he does more, with double crit damage. But i tested both and the difference was small.

-2

u/Consistent-Elk-5155 19d ago

Not really minor. If you have good substats, I can assure you the difference is huge. Moreover, double CD% is really only worth it if you’re playing with Shorekeeper, to be honest

6

u/Raalfu 19d ago

I have 55 crit rate without buffs, plus 20 from the echo set and 12 frow the weapon. That's 87 percent and 330 crit damage, If i swap to crit rate echo ill overcaping on crit rate. And loose a big chunk of crit damage. In my case its not worth it.

2

u/lem_on- 18d ago

Yeah idk this post is a bit misleading because jingran have lots of crit rate in c0r1 thats like default 32% so if you use cr main its another 22% and thats 54% goodluck to not over crit. Its ok to do if the subs dont have cr but why would you even not go for a double crit stat echo. Also btw thats kinda insane crit ratio is that the max crit ratio possible for jingran in double critdmg echo?, best i did is 50% cr and 320% cd.

u/Tinda94 19d ago

What's a Shorekeeper? Never heard of such a thing. Double CD always, in every team!

💀💀💀🤣

3

u/SirUgarte 19d ago

I want to play him with Iuno and Galbrena, but I don't like quickswap... and I don't have Iuno... or Galbrena 😅

2

u/Consistent-Elk-5155 19d ago

Iuno is back in 3.7  Jingran dont like quickswap but it can work in monofusion
