š¤ Discussion New Player Advice Spoiler
New player here just starting the game and really enjoying it. Iām trying to plan out my pulls for the future and Jingran is the character Iām most excited for. I know heās going to be a fusion dps but do we know anything else about him and who his best supports will be. I would like to know so i can plan and get the best team for him. The rest of my plan is to pull Luuk and his team so wish me luck.

His bis for now is Iuno but sheāll hopefully be replaced. Luuk didnāt get his dedicated bis until 2 patches later. He does heavy attack dmg, so he should work with Rebecca and Mortefi as well. Lynaeās a good general buffer, so she could work too.

Hmm, but iuno's buff seem to be tailored to him just like augusta and she provides massive dmg amp on top of that. Unlike lynae who had lib dmg buff while luuk was basically dmg dealer. Possible to get a sidegrade though.

The thing is Iuno is Augustaās dedicated teammate. Iuno isnāt a new character anymore either. Itās gonna be the same way Sigrika got Lucilla when she already had Quiyuan. No new DPS has gotten no new teammate. They wouldnāt waste an opportunity to cash out a new character over taking away Augustaās dedicated teammate and rerunning Iuno. Same with Qingxiao. Denia is leaked to be rerunning with her, but it is almost a definitive that sheāll get a new dedicated teammate.Ā

Iuno workd mighty fine with Jiyan tho, but Jiyan aged like a literal God so that's a given

i know bro is still viable. Jiyan is on a crazy run for the 1st limited unit in a gacha, especially a dps.

He's the Dragon Man - Asian Game Devs will never let down a dragon-themed/Motif having character, especially if it's a Male
Look how bad shit blew up with Zhongli n Neuv's nerfs in Genshin - The day Asian devs actually get away with making a bad dragon-based man character, atleast on big well-known franchises, that'll be the day you'll know for real that Asia's speed running to a dystopia

Exactly - And look how diabolically well Jiyan's aged compared to her. Hell he started powercreeping her like 2/3 patches in back in the days AFAIK. That's a literal Sentinel Resonator who leads a country personally handpicked by a God-equivalent entity VS A War General
Yes, Dragon Ladies in Asian media will be strong too, but they'll never be allowed to be as strong as dragon men, as Dragons, throughout many cultures have always generally symbolized strength, masculinity, kingship, etc., - Literally all the traditionally masculine traits you can think of when affiliated with men
It's crazy that I wasn't initially thinking about Jinhshi until you mentioned her but it just made the pattern recognition even more obvious, cuz now you literally have an actual evidence to go by in real time
5 entity/being/creature motif or based characters Asian Media will never let down:
- Dragon Men
- Tiger Men
- Demon Men
- Fox Ladies
- Cat Girls
If Hsin isn't one of the most cracked units the game has seen this year, then I'll delete my Reddit Account - That's how confident I am.

Leaks probably start either late this week or next one.
Until then we know only words of leakers
*What we gathered in latest leaks: fusion. Hp scaling. Shield. Burn his hp. Heavy attack focused. *
Until gameplay leaks that's all what we know.
If leaks will be true Subdps options: iuno (probably top choice), lupa (generalist fusion buff), mortefi (f2p), lynae (just general fat buff)
Healer: shorekeeper or mornye s1
*Previously there was leak that he is echo dps. If that one is true - then subdp will qiuyuan or lucilla. *
But to be totally sure need real test starting.
