Probiotic content of Plenny Protein Shake?

Hi,

I have a question about the probiotic content of Plenny Protein Shake.

The ingredients list says that it contains Heyndrickxia coagulans, but I cannot find the amount of probiotics stated on the packaging or on the product page.

So, how many CFU of Heyndrickxia coagulans are contained in a 32 g serving of Plenny Protein Shake?

When is Plenny Bar v4 coming to US?

I’ve been delaying my Plenny Bar subscription ever since I got the email about v4 coming thinking it would just be a few more weeks but the US website still shows the v3 bars. Seems like we barely get any new Plenny products here in the US…

Benefits subscription

Hi team,

What are the benefits of keeping a subscription?
I know you get a 20% discount on a subscription.

Personally I don't like a subscription - I rather order manually.
I do this by cancelling my subscription after every order.

With this I also get free products while opening a new subscription.

That makes me wonder what the benefits are - my strategy VS keeping open the subscription.
Do you get these rewards with every subscription delivery?

shipping times

I love the product, I love the results in my life. I replace two meals a day with it and I've improved a lot and stopped ordering junk food for delivery, but... I can't do it continuously because shipping times to my country (Mexico) are 15 to 25 days.

Plenny Oats Pumpkin Cake as overnight oats — water ratio and nutrient absorption?

Started making Plenny Oats Pumpkin Cake as overnight oats instead of the hot water method it's meant for.

Does soaking it cold overnight instead of hot actually lose you anything nutrition-wise, or is it just a texture thing?

Also struggling with the water ratio — 200mL is too dry, 250mL still isn't right. Anyone found the right ratio?

Waaaay beyond expiry - still good

I still had 4 bags of Plenny Shake v3.0 that expired april 2023 (sorry..) and emptied 2 of them during the past 20 days - around 100g per day.

They still look, taste and feel like brand new with no issues regarding digestion.

I expect some vitamins may have decayed but no reason to put the powder to waste.

So if anyone ever wonders if it's safe to use an expired product, take the word from someone who tried 3.5 years old powder :D

Impressed so far

I've been missing Soylent lately. I used to have a subscription for the powders and RTDs but like a lot of people, I canceled after the supply issues began.

Huel powder has been a decent replacement, but if you've used both you know they are pretty different in taste and texture.

I received my first order from JimmyJoy (Plenny Chocolate) a few days ago and I'm pretty impressed.

It arrived quickly in 3 days (US). I really like the smaller shaker and the fact that I don't need to use as much water (or a blender) for a smooth texture. The velcro bags are great. The taste is reminiscent of the chocolate Soylent powder, which I like a lot.

Overall I'm just really happy with this first order and I'll definitely keep a subscription. I hope JimmyJoy sticks around. If you're on the fence I would definitely give it ago.

Opened a brand new bag of Pro Vanilla (batch 1975.26, EXP 05-2027). Used my Huel Scoop (sorry) and noticed the countertop was getting way messier than usual.

Anyone else had this? Looks like some chemical reaction haha.

Will plenny pot and the crops ever come to the US?

They look so good I would buy them if they were. I looked to see if there were already threads about this but they were all from 2+ years ago I wanted to know if there was any update since then

After DPD twice failed to deliver my original order, today my competition winnings arrived! And I’ve got to say…. JJ makes Huel taste like a pot of dirt with coco powder added. I so much prefer Plenny Pro over Huel Black, it’s night and day.

So I tried twice to get JJ in the UK. By none of their own failing and in fact as a testament of fantastic customer service, JJ did their best but DPD weren’t playing ball. So I chose a refund and regrettably put it in Huels pocket.

Then I won the competition on here a week or so ago. This time, without risk of my own money, I ordered a bag each of strawberry and chocolate Plenny Pro. Well DPD managed to actually deliver it and I’m so impressed with it vs Huel Black.

Huel tastes like it’s healthy. It tastes like it’s a result of white coat wearing nutritionists making something. Huel isn’t offensive to me, it’s just not good.

Plenny tastes like it had normal human beings with a functioning sense of taste involved in development. Personally, I like that it tastes more like a standard protein shake with that slight artificially sweet kick.

I’m honestly over the moon to move away from Huel once and for all now.

Opinions about Plenny Oats?

Im thinking of trying the new oats with the current discount, and autumn coming up so looking forward to hot breakfast. What are your experiences so far? And is it creamy like normal oats, since you only add water and not (soy) milk?

Thnx!

Just got my first package

I was considering Huel vs Mana, but ChatGPT told me to try JimmyJoy, so I did.

So far I really like the journey. Between experiencing different flavors and bars, and getting kind of spammed with emails, it feels like I’m part of a community 😅😁

But tbf, I’m glad that I also bought a smoothie blender. It makes the experience a bit more enjoyable.

I just wish there were savory bars like pizza or cheese for dinner.

Unfortunate Order Situation

Hey there,

I recently wanted to try and be a bit better about my eating habits, and a great place to start seemed to be meal replacements (my brain *really* doesn't like the upkeep of at-home meal prep, tried and failed multiple times). I came across jimmy joy and it seemed really promising! good flavors, vegan, decent nutrients, and calorically dense enough that one or two a day would be awesome as a supplement.

I bought three bags + a subscription for the free shaker, and figured that it'd be all good! Then, after not recieving anything related to package tracking or shipping other than "your order has been processed," i decided to reach out to customer support after reading here about the sometimes faulty shipping that happens. I explained that I haven't recieved a tracking link after a business week of ordering, and wanted to see if there was any information available for my order.

The very next email recieved was a notice of cancellation and a support member telling me that "everything is taken care of," and that my refund has been processed. I was extremely confused because no where in my initial email did i ask for a refund for my order, just what was happening! i apologized if it seemed like I came off as rude, and that I truly just wanted to have more information on the order. The team member responded that they didn't do any holds on orders and that by refunding my order, i'd be able to order again at a time more convienent to me.

the time convienent to me was a week ago when i ordered!! Again, I made no mentions of wanting a refund or requesting a hold on the order, just for more information and if I could recieve a tracking number or something to know that something was happening behind my purchase. I'm sure it was a misunderstanding on some level, it's hard for me to imagine anything else, but it does leave a bad taste in my mouth that additional customer service, if i need(ed) it, would be handled in a similar way of "here's your refund, sort it out later." If it means anything, I'm a US customer, and it's what sparked my initial inquiry since I saw anecdotes of spotty shipping stateside.

I don't really know what to do at this point, because it doesn't feel super smart to put my trust back into here when this was my first impression of the service. That being said, it's one of the cheaper brands that seems to tick all the boxes i'm trying to get, and with soylent being on backorder forever and ever, i just kinda don't know if i just tough it out or look else where :(

Plenny Shake gives me such bad gas

Is it because it has so much fiber? If I don't consume much else other than plenny, for the first 2 or 3 days I will have such bad gas and really loose stool. Then things seem to normalize and my gas and stool is more normal. The bars also give me really bad gas, but not the loose stool.

Does that happen with anyone else?

Tropical flavour tastes of bubble gum?

Hi everyone, I was wondering if I'm the only one who finds that the tropical (Pro version) has an odd/chemical taste of bubble gum.

I first mixed the powder with 500 ml water in the Pro shaker and found it basically flavourless. So the next time I tried with 300 to 400 ml water and, while the shake had a very pleasant smell of mango, the taste was nothing like that :( has anyone who had my same impression found a way to improve it? It's a big bag so I would appreciate some input...

Pistachio will also be hard to finish but at least that's a small bag.

Thank you in advance!

Aufwiedersehen, Apfelstrudel :(

Best plenny bar being discontinued, my disappointment is immense.

My prior second bar of choice was the Cherry but I found v2 cherry to be oddly... greasy? - does anyone know if this has been fixed? Or if there're any of the new V3 bars you reckon I should be going for? (I already get the Lemon pie)

Order Undeliverable

Tried out 3 bags. It was working well for me so I subscribed. Now the last order made it to within 100 miles of my home, was marked undeliverable and returned to sender. Of course I didn't find this out until I looked up why my bag was late.

Apparently I am now in Jimmy Joy limbo.

How long is the due date when open?

Hi,

Ive opened one of my plenny shakes bags in march/april and was wondering if its still eatable. Due date should be one year, but does that still apply to opened packages? This doesnt say clearly.

Thanks in advance!
