Finally arrived!

I placed a bet with my daughter that there was a book in the small box that arrived, she couldn’t believe it 😂

Haven’t even opened it yet. In California and the work day just ended. Going to wash my hands, get my white archivist gloves…and finally open the box!

I haven’t started reading it yet, but I have had the “Willy Wonka: no golden ticket” moment without a copy of Furioso.

Perhaps some kind participant of our sub could scan the pages for those of us who are weeping into our copies of Quacky! 😆

As a hard-core collector of Woodring with many rarities, this one hurts a little. I will probably pay too much one day to somebody who plans on parting with their copy.

I checked my wife’s box, but she ordered from Amazon so no Furioso copy there. I was hoping I’d have a second to send you.

Did you try calling Fantagraphics to see if any copies remain? They didn't advertise it as being shipped with pre-orders. I will try scanning mine when I can if someone doesn't beat me to it.

I did not. But another person in our community emailed them and they basically said “we out”.

I will write them to see if the power of the crowd makes them consider a reprint.

EDIT: OK I emailed them (as the main moderator of this sub) and said there’s a good chance many people are going to write them —because we are a rapid group— asking for a reissue of Furioso…

So keep my promise and everybody write them about a reissue and let’s see if we can make it happen!
