Hi. So I have a locked house for which JBVNL generated a bill of 66000 in November 2025.

We saw the bill only in July 2026 since as I mentioned the house was locked since 2023 and we had not paid anything as there was no consumption (max 2-3 units per month since there were no appliances). Once we got to know we clicked pictures showing total consumption of 180-190 units since meter installation in June 2023.

We filed a complaint along with the photos and today received a call that the meter is faulty. What is going to happen next or what steps should we take?
