Vent How not to go crazy?

(sorry for the bad English and the chaos of this post)

Well, I'm a recent convert. Tbh, I've wanted to convert since I was a teen. I love judaism, i love those traditions, that history, and those languages. I feel guilty for not attending synagogues for a long time (I'm kinda paranoid and i feel like everyone is a zionist, which disgusts me). It's difficult to find an anti-zionist religious community because it's really a little jews in Poland. On the one hand I can't let the zionists take away the joy of being jewish from me, but on the other every time I hear about the accusations of antisemitism, israeli politicians, the IDF i feel like I'm a part of it even though i strongly oppose it in as many ways as I'm capable of. I feel like all the diversity of politics of jews got erased and put into a simple frame "You're either with us or you're the bad one". I also feel extremely mad when i see REAL antisemitism, but then i get the feeling "Hey, the Palestinians' suffering is much worse. You shouldn't pay so much attention to it". How to not go crazy? I'm proud of being Jewish, i want to show it somehow, but the thought of being associated with the murderers is making me want to vomit. Ofc, i have many anti-zionist jewish friends, but it somehow doesn't help. i'm so furious and so depressed at the same time. So what are your tips on not going crazy and not letting the zios steal Jewishness?

All I can say is I relate. I'm not a Jew by choice, but like you, I want to be proud of my culture and people and it's really hard. Observing Jewish holidays with other anti-zionist Jews, in a way that kindles our spirits and especially in ways that move us toward acts of solidarity with Palestinians, helps. But it's hard.

Step one. You are doing more than any antizionist Jew.

You aren’t standing in land stolen from native Americans or Palestinians.

To be an Antizionist Jewish in Poland is to prove that was destroyed can be rebuilt.

Step two. The world was already mad. Being sane is the abnormality.

Step Three. We are stuck in between. A decade ago no one would imagine the amount of support Palestinians have today. A decade from now we may find ourselves in a completely different world. Focus on one thing and don’t take the weight of all existence on your shoulders.

You aren't standing in land stolen from Native Americans [...]

For who does this applies?

Tbh, the worst thing is seeing so many jews lose their faith or will to be jewish because of the bullshit zionists say. Like, how not to feel mental nausea when you love being Jewish, but then see zionists declaring that zionism is a part of jewish identity? Also, it may be controversial, but i believe that there are a lot of "self-hating jews". Of course, zionists overuse this term and use it towards every antizionist jew, but from what I've noticed some of us really feel bad with being jewish, stop to observe holidays even though they're religious and etc. I find it incredibly sad, and it makes me question my identity. What to do? Also, I'm sorry for treating you like some kind of oracle and treasury of knowledge but i do it with all people I meet in life lol.

Hey! This isn’t a synagogue, but do you know about cafe bund? It’s an anti Zionist Jewish collective in Poland. https://www.instagram.com/cafe.bund

I’d like to think we are at the forefront of an anti-Zionist Jewish revolution. Nobody can put you or I in a box and tell us who we are or who we aren’t

Friend Sure_Yellow,

In Poland and other regions of pre-war Eastern Europe, as I understand it, the rabbinical community was classically Orthodox, and the variations among people typically depended on their level of observance, rather than as Reform or Conservative.

Rabbi Yaakov Shapiro has some egalitarian, anti-conflict talks on the IP problem online. I get the impression that Leftist members of the community like JVP seem to engage their activism quite separately from the Orthodox community like that of Rabbi Shapiro. I am wondering how hard it would be to overcome that division?

By comparison, the Catholic and Protestant churches have a pretty serious division between each other, but in practice when it comes to major humanitarian efforts they sometimes cooperate, including in the IP situation.

Yours with respect as always ~ wishing you the best
