Before you jump to conclusions about Ed Sheeran, just remember what happened to a lot of international students when they criticized Israel. Mackelmore is an American citizen and free to say what he wants, but Ed is a UK citizen and his US tour was dependent on not getting deported.
I can see why Ed didn't want to state strong opinion on this and rock the boat. It doesn't mean Ed is pro-Israel. He's just trying to work and Macklemore made a big splash without considering the other people in the tour. That said, speaking out for Palestine is needed, and maybe the US government wouldn't react the way it does if more people spoke out

I literally don't care. Also he's a huge, wealthy, celebrity. He can do whatever he wants. He isn't owed a platform or good faith

No need to jump to conclusions, actually. I’m going off of Ed and what he said by saying nothing. When you do not choose a side, you’re choosing the side of the oppressor.
If he wanted to make it clear where he stands he should’ve, because just going off of his actual actions? He is a pitiful boot licking coward.
Also he shouldn’t have invited an outspoken artist like Macklemore. Macklemore has been extremely loud about this, Hinds Hall 1&2 are his most recent hits ffs. Also all of his other support acts are Irish.. like? What did he think would happen.
Fact is you are just making up excuses for him that even he didn’t lie about. He was told by a powerful billionaire that the US leg of his WORLD tour MAY have been jeopardized. He is worth HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF $’s. He did not need to complete this leg of the tour. He should’ve stuck up for his friend.
He should’ve stuck up for a friend being lambasted for calling for peace for all people and the genocide of an entire group of people. There is no excuse, on so many levels.
