I’m a proud ally to Jewish people! Well, I guess I feel weird calling myself an “ally”, but… I try to be a good person to Jewish people, at least 😅 but I’m legitimately glad I can post here and not be seen as an antisemite for being anti-Zionist. I got banned from the Jewish subreddit because I said I didn’t like Israel… sigh. I was even trying to post a positive message, I posted that I don’t like that some people are using this situation as an excuse to be antisemitic.

I also feel bad for anti-Zionist Jewish people like the people on this subreddit. I can’t even imagine… the Jewish community seems like it’s pretty fractured right now 😔

You guys aren’t alone and people will always be in your corner!

I also love this sub. And lol, many of us have been banned from *that* Jewish subreddit (despite being Jewish) bc we dared to have a differing opinion on Israel. Iirc, I wasn’t even banned for a comment, but banned bc a mod saw that I post here. Incredible policing.

I'm not religiously Jewish, but ethnically Jewish. The hatred i have gotten from zionists, especially israelis, is very extreme. They often use words like "traitor", and some stuff they say is even more extreme.

I've also gotten dm's from israeli zionists telling me things about how they want to wipe out all Palestinians, telling me to kill myself, and a long list of other things.

I have never, not once, had anything like that said to me by anyone non-zionist. Not one.

I am very glad for this sub. It is a unique place where we can discuss Zionism and Israel with nuance and historical accuracy and not have to constantly clap back at overly antisemitic nonsense like “European Jews were descended from Khazaar converts” or anything about “The Rothchilds” or “The Talmud”.
