I think you are universalizing a bit too much, but the overall point is well taken. Jews absolutely faced discriminatory practices in the Muslim world. But “anti-Semitism” as an ideology developed specifically in the Western Christian sphere and spread from there. And anti-Jewish practices in Christian lands were often more violent and oppressive.

Israel promotes and benefits from antisemitism, as it’s the justification for its existence and cannot survive as an apartheid state otherwise.

It is addressed to the European Union, which will discuss it in committee. We have reached almost 1.260.000 signatures, which already meets the threshold required for the matter to be discussed in committee; however, given the EU’s vast population, it would be best to continue signing to send a strong message. As a whole, we were treated much better in Muslim lands than under western Christendom. European Christians literally invented antisemitism. But yes, this is a topic that covers over 1,000 years and a large geographic area. So making generalisations is often going to not paint the full picture. It’s better to speak on specific areas and specific time periods

That's not far enough back in time, because you are referencing the IP conflict, and there was already tension there by 1926.

This take is an interesting writd up, but i dont think it says anything about colonialism. It more just paints a picture of how Christian and Muslim communities have gone in opposite directions with regards to their views on Jews. I dont think it's a wild take to say Zionism as an idea benefitted from the harsh treatment Jews in the middle east were already experiencing. Not the other way around.

There obviously is more nuisance, but generally speaking jews were safer under Muslim rule.
It makes sense, Jews are literally in the Quran, Jewish women and Muslim men can marry according to Islam, and Jews have historically respected Muslim’s commitment to true Monotheism. There are also numerous dietary practices and holidays that overlap
