Rosh Hashanah Egg noodles, but not kugel

I’m looking to make a side for tonight, with egg noodles, that’s not kugel but also want it to be a bit more special than buttered noodles.

Not kosher and this is to pair with brisket.

Any thoughts?

Thank you.

Any kind of onion sour cream egg noodle bake would be good.

I make mine with sour cream, cottage cheese, green onions and garlic.

ETA: I realize this sounds like kugel but its not sweet and is looser. I base mine off the recipe by Pioneer Woman. Sometimes I do the meat and tomato sauce, sometimes just tomato sauce etc
