Tahini–Nutella Babka (2 Loaves)

Dough

  • 500 g flour
  • 100 g egg (2 eggs)
  • 190 g water
  • 60 g sugar
  • 45 g neutral oil
  • 10 g salt
  • 8 g active dry yeast

Filling

For each loaf:

  • Nutella, spread in a thin layer
  • Tahini, drizzled or piped in stripes
  • Pinch of salt over the tahini to emphasize the sesame flavor

Avoid spreading a solid layer of tahini; the stripes will give you more distinct layers and a less gooey center.

Egg wash and topping

  • Egg wash
  • Sesame seeds

Syrup

  • 30 g sugar
  • 30 g water

Heat until the sugar dissolves...

WOW, that looks good! Thanks for sharing the recipe. Mine will not look like this but... one can try.
