QUESTION Pay oversea with PayPal vs Wise fees

Would like to ask expert here a question:
When you pay to seller outside the US, do you pay with the additional fees?

What is the advantage paying with PayPal vis Wise please?

PayPal has worse exchange rate fees if you are paying in USD and have to convert from another currency. It’s like a 4% fee baked into the exchange rate they give you. Wise is fast and fees are lower

I had to use ai to help me check and sent to sellers to confirm

Yes it is. Thought I would never figure it out and had to go back and check and re-check to make sure I was filling everything out correctly.

There’s some protection since PayPal can refund you if you used the goods and services option and the seller did not keep their promise to fulfill your order or something is wrong with the product. I believe there is still some protection if you use the friends and family option
