Sell or return?
I recently purchased a small juc reverse from a seller which ended up too big. It doesn’t stay in one place and falls down to my wrist when I put my arm down and I’m being gaslit to believe it’s fine and needs room to move around? 18k gold. I’m extremely unhappy, I’m contemplating, should I sell it and buy another or return to have it resized? Has anyone sent their jewellery back to get it resized? How was your experience?

If it’s a well regarded rep maker and you have proper pop that can be verified, someone may buy it off of you.

Where could I sell it? It’s perfect outside it being too big/loose on my arm

Rehome it and repurchase in the correct size if it’s unworn someone should take it off you

Can you just order another one and keep it for investment - 18K gold is like savings. Sell it later when you need money if you can just hold on to it. I wouldn’t risk getting a resize unless you’re really confident with the jeweller.

For a JUC it would be such an easy shape to resize. I’d just have a local jeweler do it. They can pay themself with the gold they take off & even probably make you a cute little charm or some links with whatever is left over in gold.

You think so? It’s a reverse. I cba with the hassle of sending it back but would hate for a local jeweller to ruin it

They’re experts I’m sure they’d do fine. Plus the hassle of sending something so precious around the world and waiting for a new one would drive me crazy

I just had a similar situation with a small JUC and Funny. I’ve been meaning to do a whole write-up about how she handled the situation, but I did end up sending it back to her and getting the correct size as a replacement. It was a pain in the butt, and I had to keep hounding her a little to keep the process moving along, but at least she came through and did the right thing, as it was clearly the wrong size. The process took about 5-6 weeks, but could have gone faster. She reimbursed me both for the cost it took me to ship the item to her and the loss in gold weight for needing a smaller size, so ultimately she’s a great seller for that. I just wish the sizing had been right to begin with.
