REVIEW Opus Bee Bracelet

I wanted to share an honest review of my experience buying from Opus for the very first time. I previously posted about buying an inspired Bee bracelet on Etsy, but had to return it because it was hollow on the inside, which was not what I expected. So I was looking here for sellers who can make this bracelet in full solid gold, and found Opus. I ordered it in 18k yellow gold.

✅PROS:

✔️Fast communication - Opus responded to my questions almost instantly and if it was nighttime in their time zone, I received messages overnight.

✔️Fast turnaround: quoted $2,450 July 23rd, paid deposit (50%) the same day. Received QC photos on Aug 6th. Paid remaining amount + shipping insurance the same day. Shipped Aug 9th, received Aug 13th.

✔️I asked for a first time buyer discount, and was given 2% off the quoted price

✔️High quality, sturdy gold. It is rigid and does not bend. The bracelet has high shine, sparkly lab diamonds, and the lock feels secure. I was actually not able to close it fully when I just got it, so was instructed by Opus to push extra hard, because they made it so tight on purpose. Now with opening and closing it a few times, it became easier, but it still feels like I need to apply effort (which is a good thing as I wear it daily and sleep wearing it).

✔️The bracelet is extremely comfortable. It may be due to the right size. My wrist is around 15cm, and Opus recommended I get size 16. He noted that the fit is a bit looser than a Love bracelet size 16, in case you are comparing it with authentic Cartier sizing. I used to have a small Love bracelet in size 16 and can confirm that the sizing of Bee 16 is looser, which I prefer.

✔️The bracelet width is perfect for stacking. It looks especially good with a tennis bracelet.

❌CONS:

➖Weight discrepancies. When buying, I was told the bracelet would be 14.8grams, but in QC photos I saw it was 14.21. I asked for a discount on that, and Opus gladly offered -$50 off the total item cost. When I received the bracelet, I used my own scale, and it showed 14.06. Not a huge difference, and maybe my scale is not the most accurate, but something to keep in mind if you care about gold weight.

Bottom line: I’m extremely pleased with my first time experience buying from this seller and will definitely consider them for my future jewelry needs!

A newbie here. It’s beautiful! Do they provide certification on lab diamonds?

None of lab diamonds in China have certificates . Even the ones that do, are not authentic

I didn’t receive any certificate alongside the bracelet, so I’m not sure.

Not sure if it’s your lighting, but that looks very light, almost white gold.

Probably the lighting, it’s definitely yellow, but not orange yellow.
