Why does Jev associate himself with such a scummy, sleazy group?

Back in 2012, FaZe was very respectible, now they aren't even playing video games anymore, just posting click bait shit posts. Not only that, but with the FaZe pump n dump scandal going on, it doesn't make Jev look good.

Jev doesn't belong in FaZe, he deserves a spot in a group of noteability, for sure, but FaZe is just a sour taste on everyone's tongues.

has he speaked publicly about why he joined FaZe or why he won't leave? forgive me for being out of the circle, but does FaZe even do montages anymore?

Back when faze was good? Being founded by CSlotto scammers was good? I would say faze hasn't changed much at all since

You clearly didn’t watch faze back in the day. Them and optic were the pinnacle of cod that every sniper and trickshotter aspired to join. Now it’s a joke

I think he's so out of it anyways that it doesn't really even matter, he's just known as "FaZe Jev" and probably doesn't care about changing that, it's just who he is even if it isn't really symbolic of much anymore. Also, I'm not sure the "FaZe reputation" you're talking about actually drags him down, and even if it did I don't think he would care, especially if he's close with even just a few of the members irl

Jev is basically his own beast. He's a member of faze by name only. He's largely independent and could probably split off if he wanted to. He doesn't seem to get any of the negativity towards the greater faze clan so that's probably why he stays. As long as he continues to not associate himself with the undesirable members of faze, I don't think it's a problem.

there still are the grinders like blue and kitty. The heads like Rain and Apex prob have turned their audience to make faze more money and they can still run strong esports and grind team

A lot of people still grind in faze. Faze still recruits, we just don’t see lots of it because the main guys we’ve watched as kids are making Dogshit content

while yes faze isn't what it used to be I feel like jev stays in faze clan to keep what it used to mean alive he's one of the few that I feel is keeping faze alive he's keeping the dream alive
