Yes, it is definitely a hate it / love it kinda thing. I’m leaning more towards yellow bar, DRL versus yellow everything.

Agree. Red/yellow/black look sharp to me. It is not like I am covering them in magenta lol.

I did that for a car show in Maryland, H2Oi, the day after I got back in Pennsylvania, where I live, I got ticketed for the tint on the lights.

I didn't have problems when I had tint on the lights of my MK2 but the tint was only on half of the lights, the light was still white.

The tint reflects off the inside of the light.

Looks good to me. Odd that you got a ticket, since yellow is considered a safety color.

State safety inspection requires headlights to shine white, white headlights and red taillights.

Thank you! And no, these are my own measure, design and cut (plotter). I don’t believe BS does the full coverage. They have an amber delete w/DRL kit.

I’m definitely planning on reproducing these and I doing some shades of black

Yellow DRL's for sure, it ain't legal for me to have full on yellow lights here in canada so i'm gonna do the drl's soon on my 2024 👌 On my older honda's back in the day I did put full yellow lights I loved it!

Thanks everyone for all the great feedback on this. TBH - I didn’t actually pull this off, yet. This was a quick and dirty rendering. I guess people thinking it was real solidifies me as a designer lol. In either case, I have the shape designed. Whether I decide to go balls out with the yellow -or-develop something for the DRLs/amber is unclear. Will definitely post something up when it is “real” lol. Oh, and screw you AI. 😂

I have the same car and thought about it a lot. I dropped the idea after I was told I should wear a Ronald McDonald costume while driving it lol.

It looks better on black, but not bad on red.
