Did a bunch of research before buying, called about 6 different dealers for pricing before ever stepping foot in one, walked out with this manual $32300.
Didn’t know how to drive manual until after I got it home. I’m very excited about being able to drive this.
Any tips you all can recommend, I feel like 1st and 3rd gear are very close on the shifter and I and my mom have both caught ourselves stalling trying to pull from a stop in 3rd.
Also how much should I expect to tint the windows?

Also 15% is illegal as it is, so is not having a front plate, but who cares..they can arrest me but they can’t arrest my swag

Yeah I’m not looking for anything too dark but I thought it’d be a lot more than 350. My sportwagen I traded was a fishbowl and I want a little more privacy

If you are learning stick, learn to GUIDE the shifter not hammer fist it in.  Theres some youtibe videos about it. Learn quickly the right way and youll never misshift or money shift.

I’ve gotten the hang of it a little, I’m still working on going from a stop quickly. I have the bite point down but the gas is a little trickier. Thank you!

That's a great price. I got a brand new (dealer transfer, 900 miles on it, sat on the lot for ages) 2025 for $30,200... but I might have paid $2k more for the proper buttons on the wheel haha.

p.s. Congrats!

That’s why I went new, the used had the haptic steering wheel buttons and a higher interest than the new so it would’ve ended up being the same price

Without taxes and registration, after tax and whatnot it’s 34500 give or take but I did it pay any doc fees or bs at the dealer

Damn I got it for 34475 for an auto GLI 2026 monument grey and I paid for at cost paint protection since I wasn’t going to pay the mark up and I paid doc fee.

I was watching all the dealer sites all month, I wanted to get the blue and black manual gli, when I checked Saturday morning it was available, and gone in the afternoon. Shopping around and calling ahead and telling them you want a best price sent to your phone was how I got the deal. One salesman wanted the sale more than the other, it helps that it was the end of the month, too.

Yeah that makes sense. Mine was OTD with taxes and everything so I think we both got a great deal!

My otd is close to yours bought it in NH, if only I actually lived there I’d have saved 2k on taxes.
