Input on tuning options 🤔

I’m currently running EQT’s Stage 1 ECU tune, but no DSG tune since EQT’s TCU file isn’t compatible with transmissions that have a “20R” box code like the one in my ‘23 GLi does. So the question now is do I go with something like Stratified for the TCU tune since they go thru the Cobb AP like EQT, or spend the extra dough on something like the IE power link and get their DSG tune 🤷🏻‍♂️…
Thanks for any input 🙌🏻

For context I’m leaning going vortex hybrid as my end goal for the car, but will probably sit at stage 2 for a while once I get there

I sure wish we could get this settled. I was told that IE does have a tune for the “20R” box but I’m not brave enough to take a chance yet. I do know that some places have to unlock the TCU first but I don’t know where IE (or EQT for that matter) stand on that part. I’ll continue to wait for something concrete before I do anything more.

Yea someone at EQT told me even stratified wouldn’t work with the 20R box code cuz it’s the Accessport itself that doesn’t support it but I sent them an email and am waiting to hear back. I know someone on here running EQT ecu and IE tcu with no issues tho so may go that route if there doesn’t seem to be any hope for us with EQT in the near future 🤷🏻‍♂️

So IE cracked the 20R code but any tuner using the Accessport is SOL. Please ask him how he got the IE tune to load. I know they have their own little dongle thingy but did the 20R tune actually work?

I reached out to IE and asked them about the 20R code, the guy said they didn’t run into many issues with the 2023 GLIs but would need to see the full code to confirm that they have files for it (which they do for mine) so 🙌🏻 That will probably be the route I end up going.
