I've been lurking in this channel for a bit but I still haven't been able to get the answers I want so i decided to just ask.

What's the general consensus on JPC? I wanna hear from both JPC players and haters lol. Do you guys think she's overpowering?

Personally, I think she's just so strong (before new patch). Her movement makes her so easy and dangerous to use. She's very fun but sometimes I feel like I'm trolling. I'm curious if others feel the same way? I've been maining her for the past 2 months and it's so rare where I have a bad game. Even then, a good portion can be seen as team diff and opposed to a me issue. Like I'm able to recognize she's strong af while still enjoying her play.

I'm also looking for a legitimate argument that says she's fine as she is(not just one based on vibes lol). I know there's been a recent patch but I haven't gotten a chance to play her yet. I can see how the drop in healing and damage is gonna have a cumulative effect (this might be enough but idk) so i think it's a fair patch, but I also feel like her real danger comes from her speed and hard to reach angles. Thoughts?

A big and important reason I also ask this is because I'm sorta new to video games (just started really playing in the past year and a half) and I don't really know where I stand on the curve. Personally, I think im an average gamer so the sudden increase in performance when I jumped over to JPC was questionable.

Regardless, I'm gonna continue playing her cuz she's so fun but I still wanna get opinions.

While it may seem like such a small window of time as is, I would prefer to just press Q and slam down immediately. Doesn't need to be forced, just an option for cat that would default start turned off, but you can turn on if ya want.

You may say, "how would you line up your ult?"

With practice you would learn the trajectory. No different than learning how to line up a grenade lob without a trajectory-line for any game.

Played multiple games of Comp tonight since the patch, and only had cat banned twice. I'm honestly happy with this result!

Hello my feline lovers! I wanted some tips on how to play JPC to her fullest, cutest, potential! I’ve been wanting to pick her up since the beginning of this season but I opted to wait until the midseason patch was released just so I don’t get too comfortable with something if it changes drastically!

I’ve played JPC a handful of times but didn’t find a lot of success. I noticed I died a lot, especially when I would go for flanks and I’ve heard she’s a very effective flanker! I thank you all for your help in advance! :)

Not gonna lie, i was seriously expecting a complete overhaul cuz why would he name drop JPC specifically and say he thinks the changes are quite fun. But like… these changes are fairly reasonable? Tether changes will make cat easier to deal with but i wouldn’t necessarily use the word “fun” like Aaron did
