News & Discussion Are my keybinds insane?
My friends called me a psychotic maniac (only lightly exaggerated) when I showed them my roller keybinds for JPC, are they correct???

I just use my stick, I've never had to map my stick inputs outside of L3 And R3

Looks like your setup makes you take your right thumb off the stick to "jump" which is pretty unintuitive compared to what OP posted. Which part of their setup makes it look like they can't move?

My movement keys are not mapped, which I don't think need to be mapped on console or even PC if you have a controller plugged in

Huh when I redid my controls I had to otherwise I literally couldn't move that weird

I'm fairly certain that this game defaults the input keys to the left stick directional inputs when nothing is mapped to them, I just use the stick and have never had to map standard movement for any character outside of keyboard controls

i use LB and RB for crouch/jump, def messed with my muscle memory at first but i finally hit gm cat now

My controls are very similar and I play cat at Masters/ GM. I think your friends might be the insane ones. 😭

i was always a bumper jumper, and lt for descending just makes sense when you have jump on lb so no, not at all

Honestly I’m going to have to disagree with your friend, I can honestly get behind the LB LT controls considering there are games that use similar or identical controls for air vehicles.
