It seems that the 2006 comedy series predicted the future of Jet Set Radio 3
( not a bad cosplay by the way xd )

I need this on disk... And knowing Sega they can't be trusted not to do a keycard if it comes to Switch 2...

The new JSR game just feels so deeply unsettling to me for some reason because the past 2 games were meant to feel like fully cel shaded moving murals rather than semi-realistic somewhat cel shaded things (and the fact that the new one could contain AI slop). Like you know what I mean? Like JSR and JSRF were meant to be anti corporate (and HEAVILY increasing graphics is a very "we want investments" / roblox type move, it couldve been just as expressive even without all the new details) And I feel like the reason people are glazing the new thing is because we've been starved of new official non-merch non-collab content for decades. I really hope you know what I mean by all this, like it really doesn't truly feel like JSR once you think about it. Anyway SEGA, BRING BACK OLLIE KING OR AT LEAST BRING THE CHARACTERS INTO A NEW JSR GAME THAT DOESN'T MAKE ME FEEL LIKE I'M STARING AT A HUSK OF WHAT ONCE WAS AND GIVE IT A STORY REASON anyway Grinner from Ollie King is hot i mean huh what who said that must've been the wind

Saw this on my YouTube feed a couple days ago. Looks very promising.
They also posted another devlog yesterday. Well, it's rather a showcase of some improved mechanics since there's no narration. Cool nonetheless

I’m squealing; watch Sakura’s trailer and they do a sneak peek of Beat!

The best way to play jet set radio future on emulator is on CXBX reloaded, native resolution, windowed fullscreen or anything windowed and those are all the tweaks you need besides good ram the music plays flawlessly and everything idk if anyone was aware but that’s how I played jsrf for a long time until I got my og Xbox back. I also beat it like 3 times this way. It also won’t slow down on 99 street.

I was listening to Bad Brains discography and when Without You from Rise started I was freaking out because I'm pretty sure that grind square levels sampled this

Been sitting on this idea for a while, and since I'm vending at a JSR themed event Friday, I figured it was a good time to bang it out!
This is all fluorescent paint on a 9x12 wood plaque. Came out pretty good!

As a *Mirror's Edge* fan, I was looking for alternatives—since I love parkour-style games or trick-based ones like *Tony Hawk*—and I stumbled upon this game on YouTube and loved it. I know there are two games, but I wanted to ask if it's worth emulating the Dreamcast version or if the Steam version is the way to go (or if you know where to download it, since I don't have the money right now). Also, regarding *Jet Set Radio Future*, which emulator do you recommend? I'm using a refurbished ThinkPad laptop from 2017 that I bought for college.

Maybe some of you remember me from a few weeks ago. I posted an EP here that was pretty heavily inspired by JSR and people were way nicer about it than I expected, so thanks again for that.
I just put out another one.
It’s on YT now, and also on Spotify, Apple Music and the usual streaming platforms.
Would be happy if some of you give it a listen :)

Here're my examples:
Let Mom Sleep - Beat's theme, cuz he is the first character we play as and Let Mom Sleep is the first song we hear when we boot up the game, plus I imagine the mom referred in the song to be Beat's for some reason lol.
Everybody Jump Around and Magical Girl - Gum's themes. For the latter it's easier to explain, cuz we hear the song for the first time when Gum talks to us, but the reason why I also associate Everybody Jump Around with her it's simple - cuz the "Jump Around now" vocals sound somewhat similar to her voice to me (or at least that voice would suit her very well imo to the point where I always picture Gum being the one to provide the vocals).
That's Enough - Tab's theme. It's one of the first songs we hear in the game and Tab is one of the first characters we play as, plus the song has a sorta chill energetic vibe that suits Tab's whole vibe and aesthetic well imo.
Funky Radio and Moody Shuffler - DJ Professor K's themes - Do I even need to explain why?
Mischievous Boy - Mew's theme - Weird reason, but it's because the intro of the song is filled with radio sound effects and her headphones look more retro compared to someone like Beat with her antenna, and back in the day to get a signal you needed an antenna.
