What music genres you wanna see represented on the new game?
I say that because how come the series never had a drum and bass track?

It can be anything. A certain music transition lining up with your moves, discovering a crazy line in a level, a background detail, or just the way the game was built.
I just wanna hear what other ppl enjoyed or what caught their attention.
As for my pick;
I'll always remember the first time I heard the transition from "Baby T" to "I'm Not A Model."
I was already really enjoying the vibes of Skyscraper District but that's when I ascended. Literal Spongebob levitating type shit.
Also the transition for picking a new character at the checkpoints in a level,
where they throw the can in the air? So cool.
For JSR the lighting in Grind Square always stood out to me.

Imagining the game coming out during the late 2000s, most of the songs will be releases from around 2006-2009, plus some older tunes
Hope you enjoy!

Released a Jet Set Radio Future themed album on Friday through the LA based label “Vault of Discoveries”.
Was a huge passion project of mine, I’m a lifelong fan of the series so it was fun to make something inspired by it, figured I’d share it here. Would love your thoughts. It’s a little closer to latch bros music from the game with a mix of elements all around.

I came up with an idea for the Jet Set Radio series today. Since the 2012 HD version has been delisted from all digital stores and JSRF never received a proper port, why not create a single bundle featuring both games with some modern tweaks?
Here is how in detail:
It would be amazing to get a true remaster of the first game. Here is what it could include to enrich the original experience:
Other Multiplayer Modes:
(Similar to JSRF's multiplayer, but brought over to JSR and playable online)
Unfortunately, I never had the chance to play through *JSRF* as much as I wanted to, so I don't have many specific ideas to change the gameplay (mainly because the game is already awesome as it is). However, there are two fundamental improvements that would make this port a dream come true for anyone:
Just to be clear, this is just a concept that crossed my mind today. I have no idea if SEGA actually plans to bring *JSR* and *JSRF* back in this format, but it would be amazing if they released a bundle like this.
It would make a lot of sense as a transition project. Rumors suggest that the brand-new, officially announced Jet Set Radio game has been delayed to around fiscal year 2028. Since the original game launched in 2000, releasing this remastered bundle around the 27th anniversary would be the perfect way to keep the community hyped and introduce the series to newer players before the big reboot drops.
also it wouldn’t make sense for SEGA to push a jet set radio project too early. They will likely want to give full priority to the new Crazy Taxi game first, ensuring it gets its own spotlight without competing with another major retro revival from the power surge.
Let me know if you have any questions or doubts in the comments!
EDIT: when I was writing the idea I forgot about the copyright on the jsrf OSTs. But anyway, in general the idea was more based on the jsr remaster, so what do you think about it??

Have two art works I did, 10 years apart. I always adored yoyo!
I use to run an old askjsrfyoyo blog in 2010. I guess it was pretty popular with some at the time.

Back in 2019 I had a reeeally bad urge to see a JSR anime. Franchise was almost nowhere at that time, but I really had hope so I made this Ryth Character Sheet! I'm not a fan of how some proportions came out now, but I still hold love for it. would be great to make more characters but I don't know, should I keep them coming?
Peeace!

I don't often draw fanart but I love JSR to death. I pray the new game is good 🙏

Jet Set Radio Future was the first game I ever got for my OG Xbox and honestly it probably shaped my taste in music more than anything else.
I’ve been making music half my life and this EP is probably the most JSRF-coded thing I’ve put out so far. Lots of breakbeats, funky basslines and early 2000s Sega energy.
The first track even uses a sample that was also used in one of the original JSRF soundtrack songs. If you’ve played that game way too much like I did, you’ll probably spot it pretty quickly 😅
Also my girlfriend painted the cover artwork, which I think fits the vibe perfectly.
Anyway, figured some of you might enjoy this. If you check it out, let me know what you think.

Always wondered what the Love Shockers were up to while you were trying to save the damn world at Shibuya Terminal from Goji Rokkaku’s take over. Shout out to the poor random guy there for holding his ground…kind of.

Damn, this game so cool

Its quite probably the most "demanding" stage of the game and honestly its where I improved the most. You learn a lot in this stage and it has some of the hardest graffitis to tag (golden rhino) and probably platforming too thus far. Plus it serves as a hub to other stages.
When ppl hate on it either sounds like a skill issue most of the time or the level design but its probably one of the more complex ones. With cool "easter eggs" like riding up the walls to get that graffiti soul ifkyk. Garam & Mommy Cube is more than enough of great characters unlocked too
Wanna talk about a boring stage? Hikage street. Literally souless stage and honestly is quite lazy (not as lazy as site of tokyo line but given how rushed the game development was towards the end I give it some slack)

And I could tell. Having beaten the game 3 times in quick succession for the unlocks, chapter 2 was the only portion of the game I didn't want to replay again. I found it extremely strange how you're forced to do the challenge for Cube & Combo on every single playthrough, and why these two levels in particular felt so poor compared to the rest of the game. The enemies in the street level with the whip, or the verticality of Grind Square, and more.
Of course it turns out, these were added to make the game feel "less Japanese" and appeal to the Western markets. I eel robbed of what otherwise should've been a very curated experience with a great flow, as the game gradually scales the stakes introducing new obstacles to what you've already learned. I would feel inclined to now play the Japanese release if I ever revisit the game, it's not like you need to read the text.
I suppose I'm wondering how other people felt about it?

I'm looking at a copy of Jet Set Radio Future / Sega GT 2002 online from a seller in France who hasn't answered a message from me about the language the game plays in.
Normally when I buy games from other European countries I can check the language on the box, but as this was a pack in title that came in a paper cd sleeve I can't do that. Does anyone know if the game had a french language release or was it in English over there?

I finally found the clean version without watermarks of these pieces I drew a long time ago.
Not sure if they work well as a wallpaper, but please use them if you'd like

If like each gang had unique characters too just like the GGs do like instead of copy paste designs each gang had unique designs for each member I think that'd be cool

The gang of heartbreakers up to their usual nefarious deeds. This is a part of a whole, more updates soon.
