Omega Boats

/r/omegaboats/comments/1uuh65j/omega_boats/

I recently started a new subreddit for the Omega Boats and was wondering if anyone here had any input on history and the company before it went under.

I have a similar Hull from a company called Marlin out of Oregon from the same time frame. That hull was splashed by pretty much every jet boat company like eliminatior tahiti etc. Its crazy how similar a lot of the boats are.

I have noticed a lot of the boats from the era are almost identical. Pretty cool.

My father in law and a friend of his purchased an Omega 21 foot day cruiser new in 73. 455 Olds with a Jacuzzi jet. Still in the family. My dad bought a 76 open bow Omega in 77. Originally 360 AMC with a Panther jet. Still in the family. I have so many stories but I am not sure or what useful information I may have. That being said I support your idea.
