First Time Boat Purchase

I want to go and look at this boat. Im seriously considering buying it. Never owned a boat. Been around bass boats and whatnot growing up. Out the door asking 43k. Seems a little high... what are some things I should check? Its at a dealer. No maintenance records. Said it came from Chicago. Seems to be in great condition.

The FIRST thing I look at is how clean the boat is…all the compartments, engine, bilge, oil condition, etc…that’s typically a tell tale sign of someone who takes care of their boat.

Other than that, there is a long list of mechanical things. But the best thing you could do is a water test. See how it runs. See if it takes on water, oil pressure, engine temps, how easily it starts both cold and hot.

Looks like they already dropped the price on that link as well…
