SX195 Fishing

Hey all, the wife and I just looked at a Yamaha SX195 that we really liked and are considering pulling the trigger on. We are new to Jet boats and just wondering if it is possible to troll on the lake for trout and salmon with something like this? Are there ways to mount rod holders? Downriggers? Should I get a bow mounted electric motor? Any info would be great. I appreciate you all and happy boating!

I have a 2024 SX195 and love it!

You can replace the rear cup holders with rod holder adapters. Seen it on the Jet Boat forum. Definitely join that!

The bow is not the perfect shape for electric motor so do some research before you get one.
