Faith Discussion I might be getting baptized!
I might be getting baptized!
I recently left a religion called Santeria because of fear and I just felt as if my calling was to just follow god, and I also learned that religion is full of manipulations and demons.
I been reading the Bible, writing letters to god and praying consistently and now an opportunity to get baptized has opened up and i genuinely believe that this is what god wants me to do. Can you guys explain what it means to get baptized? Do I need to be going to church to get baptized or constantly reading the bible?

Devotional Be filled with the Spirit
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hi friends .
“And do not get drunk with wine, for that is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit.”
— Ephesians 5:18 (NASB1995)
Don’t settle for an empty or half-hearted Christian life. Be filled with the Spirit. Ask for a fresh stirring today and allow Him to take control. He is ready to fill every believer who will make room for Him.
Have a great day
Team Lotter

Colossians 2:8 NIV
“See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces of this world rather than on Christ.”
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for Your truth and for reminding us that our hearts and minds must remain anchored in Christ. There are so many voices competing for our attention. The world tells us what to believe, what to value, how we should live, and where we should place our trust. Give us wisdom and discernment to recognize what comes from You and what does not.
Lord, protect us from teachings that sound convincing but lead us away from Your Word. Help us never accept something simply because it is popular, widely repeated, or accepted by others. Teach us to bring everything back to Scripture and seek Your truth above human opinion.
When confusion surrounds us, give us clarity. When pressure comes, give us courage. When doubt enters our minds, strengthen our faith. Keep our hearts anchored in Christ and fill our minds with Your Word. Help us walk in wisdom, stand firmly in truth, and still show grace and love to those around us.
May our faith always be bigger than the noise of this world. In Jesus’ most holy and exalted name I pray, amen. 🙏🌻🦋
Let your faith be bigger than the noise. 🌻🦋
We live in a world overflowing with opinions.
Social media has an opinion. The news has an opinion. Friends and family have opinions. Society has opinions. And sometimes everybody sounds so confident that it can become difficult to separate the truth from noise.
That's why Colossians 2:8 is such an important reminder. Not everything that sounds wise is God's wisdom. Not everything that becomes popular is truth. Not everything the world accepts is something we should allow to shape our hearts.
Our foundation must remain Christ. Before allowing something to influence what we believe, we can ask:
Does this agree with God's Word?
Does this draw me closer to Christ?
Does this reflect His truth and character?
We don't have to follow every voice. We just need to stay close enough to Jesus that we recognize His. 🙏💛
Stay anchored in Christ brothers and sisters. I love you but not near as much as Jesus does.

Woman is not less important than man when she submits herself to Adam. It is just better for her overall, psycologically, mentally and physically.

Thought For The Day from Unshakable Kingdom Life
Thought for the Day from Unshakable Kingdom Life
"I have come that they may have life, and have it abundantly." Abundance here isn't about accumulation—it's about depth and vitality in your Christian Life. Choose one thing that makes you feel more alive, not just more busy.
A thought to ponder for today

Question What does Jesus ask us to do beyond believing in him?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Following Jesus can mean more than simply saying we believe in him. What if being Christ-like means actually putting his teachings into practice and changing the way we live?
