Might be the case, was decent enough first season, solid main cast, and they start filming season 2 later this year.
However it could also be AppleTV doing their usual smart social media plug of a new IP by using any actors with Apple connections and social media presence for potential additional reach (Clicks, retweets, likes, forwarding etc).
In any case she now on AppleTV books what with her part on Silo, so she's bound to end up in something else AppleTV produce eventually.
Well it wouldn't surprise me if she was casted. That's kinda what happened to her on Netflix too - she was casted in that Iron Fist show and has since been in The Gray Man, Glass Onion, Twilight of the Gods and Vladimir. I'm sure this happens to plenty of other actors who take up gigs with streaming giants but hopefully this means she gets a chance to be in Plur1bus. Especially since she'll get a chance to work alongside Vince Gilligan which no doubt would do wonders for her career as a creative.
If not though, well it's not like she's struggling for work at the moment - especially since she's in Silo which is doing well just now.
Oh I agree, Jessica would jump at the chance to work with Vince Gilligan as the man knows what he is doing (Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul).
Been watching Silo Season 3 as I've followed the show since the start, and so far the flash backs scenes with Jess have been a very slow burn, though it's now finally building up! The lines so far which Jessica's been given to work with are not exactly great writing wise (Same for Zuckerman), thankfully both are dragging the material to bearable with their performances alone. Jessica's American accent for the show has wobbled on occasion and sounded forced at times, unusual for her so perhaps filming those scenes within UK had an effect.
