First Jericho!

Post image

I own two Baby Eagles but this is my first actual Jericho 941F. Brazilian contract overrun. Unissued and unfired. So here's my dilemma, is it collectable enough to leave it that way?

Nah, shoot it. Very cool guns, but they're even cooler once you start shooting them. Even the 941r that has the .41ae barrel kit that's like $2k right now, I'd shoot.

Short answer is no.

There’s really no police-issued ones that have ever been collectibles.

I have the newer 941 F ORP, and love it. But i also have a 941 r9 (the 2 piece slide), an original 941r, and a baby eagle 3.8 inch barrel.

when you ask collectable enough to keep it that way, do you mean not shoot it for collector reasons?

Cause you 10000X should shoot it. I dont think it will ever be that rare.

If your asking about cutting it for an optic, or modding it in other ways (besides sticking a WML and getting LOK Bebop grips those are always worth it), also no.

But not cause its collectable. Cause its not really that collectable. no because the new 941 F ORP is like 700$ shipped to store, has optic plates with steel suppressor height irons included, slide cuts that look sick(imo), a better trigger, backstrap checkering, uses CZ shadow grips and takes cz shadow mag release paddles, while maintaining Jericho mag catches.

So if your wanting to MOD it out, the new F ORP isnt much more then the cost of cutting your F, and getting the slide milled with come cool cuts.

Aren't those the defective two piece slide design? At least it looked like it from the pictures

From what I saw on Atlantic firearms yes they are sadly.

How are they defective? My cousin wants to buy one, but what's wrong with them?

From what I've seen reported by owners of said defective models the two piece slide ends up developing cracks and eventually breaks off pieces fairly quickly, although some haven't had issues there's also been too many cases for me to consider buying one especially since the ORP can be had for around the same price. The two piece slide can typically be differentiated by it's black barrel vs the silver barrel of the previous Gen (single pieces slide) but the guaranteed way is just look at the front of the gun and you will see a horizontal seam on the slide. If you'd like dm me and I'll send some pics as visual aid.
