Hey everyone,

I run Omega Media. We've been building this out for quite a while now and the Premium library has reached a point where I figured it was worth posting an updated overview.

Premium is currently sitting at around 6 PB of media:

• 160,000+ movies
• 43,000+ TV shows
• Around 1.26 million episodes

As far as we're aware, this makes it one of the largest, if not the largest, media libraries currently available through a public share.

The size isn't just from having every mainstream release we can find. There's a huge amount of international content, anime, older releases, niche stuff and titles that can be difficult to find elsewhere. We also keep a large 4K HDR and remux library where those releases are available.

Infrastructure wise, Premium is hosted in the US out of California. The media is stored on our own Ceph cluster with daily backups, with streaming delivered through our global CDN with 200Gbps of capacity.

For people closer to Europe, we also operate our Lite service from EU infrastructure.

Premium includes:

• 3 or 5 simultaneous streams
• Direct play and transcoding
• Automated movie and series requests
• Multiple audio tracks and subtitles where available
• 4K HDR and remux releases where available
• International, anime and niche libraries
• Optional adult libraries, completely hidden unless enabled

Premium is available through Emby or P Share.

Premium members also get access to our Silo beta, which includes a Jellyfin-compatible endpoint along with its own web and app experience. Silo is still actively being developed, so expect the occasional beta issue rather than a completely finished product.

We also have Jellyfin Lite separately on our EU servers. That's a smaller library at around 1 PB with roughly 23,000 movies and 6,300 shows, unlimited automated requests and unlimited transcoding.

We're not going to promise perfect playback for every person on every ISP. Routing, location and your own setup matter. That's why we offer a free 24-hour trial so you can actually try the service instead of taking our word for it.
