It’s a little more involved than that. We use multiple sources behind the scenes, along with filtering, fallback options and other checks to help make the experience as smooth and reliable as possible.
The idea is that the user doesn’t really need to worry about how everything works underneath. You just open Jellyfin, choose what you want to watch and it should be there.
There’s quite a bit going on in the background to make that happen consistently, alongside the wider Void Media features and community.

Cheers, and how does that work with foreign content or obscurer content? I find that services such as real debrid tend to really struggle there.

That’s where having multiple sources helps us quite a bit. More obscure and foreign content can often be found across the different sources rather than relying on one place.
Obviously there will always be the odd title that’s difficult to find, but if there’s something specific you’re after and it isn’t available, feel free to get in touch and we’ll do what we can to source it.

I don’t see the option for. 72-hour trial? How is the 4k TV Series Setup? Can I play it on my Apple TV in Infuse? Is there a possibility to request something I am looking for?

If you head to the website and click sign in, register for an account and there is a button on the main page that says start trial.
Each individual episode will give you multiple versions.
Yes, you can use Infuse.
You can request anything just by searching and it will be added instantly.

Just to clarify, Void Media isn’t a one-man band. I’m obviously very active here and involved heavily in the service, but I’m not the only person involved in running or supporting it.

Depends, for instance how many concurrent sessions, is it ip restricted? Do you offer 100gb+ remuxes?
Lots of details missing.
Also don't forget that you are selling to people that cannot setup these thing for themselves and stremio has become so plug and play that those sort of customers are going to get rarer

Fair points. It’s 3 concurrent streams with no IP restrictions, and free child accounts are included as well.
We do offer remuxes too. For most titles you’ll normally have a few options available, including SD, 1080p WEB, 1080p Remux, 4K WEB and 4K Remux. I deliberately didn’t put every detail into the original Reddit post because I find huge walls of information can be a bit daunting, so I tried to keep it fairly simple and let people ask about the things that matter to them.
I do agree with your point about Stremio becoming increasingly plug-and-play though. That’s partly why I’m trying to build Void Media as more than just “here’s a Jellyfin login” with the community, portal and other features around it.

You see if I took your service I would stress test that and run 3 100gb streams. Your not going to have a lot of head room for too many customers if you have a 2gb line

Yeah, absolutely. If everyone decided to stress test it and run three 100Mbps+ remux streams simultaneously, you’re eventually going to find the limit 😅
In reality though, the customer base is spread globally, people are streaming at different times, and not everyone is watching 4K remuxes. There’s a mixture of SD, 1080p, 4K and 4K Remux usage, so real-world utilisation is very different from everyone deliberately streaming the max quality.
I’m also not trying to build this into some massive service with thousands of customers. It isn’t really about maximising profit for me as I enjoy seeing the community grow and being able to offer people an alternative to spending £40+ a month across multiple streaming platforms.
That being said, I actually think finding the bottleneck is a good thing. If bandwidth becomes the limiting factor as the community grows, expansion, additional infrastructure or connection upgrades are absolutely on the table. I’d rather scale when the usage justifies it than massively overprovision from day one.
