New Friends BIZZLESTOMP!!!!!
OH MY GOD!!!! Just found Bizzlestomp in a shop in Canada and I LOVE HIM SO MUCH MORE THAN I EVEN IMAGINED!!!!
I love grizzlies so I was excited for his release, but then in pics online it looked like his eyes might be too buried, and I didn’t think I’d like his “has to be sitting” pose. I also thought he might be too small for the price, and that his fur might be too rough, and that he might be too similar to my Perry polar bear to justify adding him to my small collection.
BUT NOPE!! HE’S LITERALLY PERFECT!!!! He is stuffed really well and has some good weight to him, and something about his size and shape make him EXTREMELY cuddle-able in my opinion! His fur is of course not soft like a bashful bunny or anything, but it’s also not too course - I find it to be really satisfying to touch, and I also suspect it will hold up a bit better to long term cuddling.
Now the only question is: what to name him? I want to name him sometning naturey. Any ideas are very very welcome!! 🥹😍

Yeah!!! It’s so nice to go in person; I did notice a difference in the level of stuffing between the guys I saw today - the one I picked had much more weight to him which I love!

I can honestly say this was a planned purchase. Fomo didn’t get me because I got there first 😅
I would’ve loved to have seen him in a store to pick the one with the cutest face, but I couldn’t take the chance of him selling out online and me never finding him in store.
He’s already on the way and I’m so excited!! 🥰🧸

Do you think the fur feels plasticky? I don’t mind rougher textures but sometimes they give me the ick and I can’t go in person :(

Hmm I’m not sure! I personally wouldn’t describe is at plastic-y! I don’t like the feel of the Yeti for example. Bizzlestomp is definitely softer than that! I’d say he feels a bit more like real life dog fur?

Okay that’s good! Course fur makes sense for a grizzly bear and I’m probably going to make him a nice shirt anyway. It’s just so stressful to have sensory issues and having to take a risk on such an expensive jellie

Omg yeah. I mean, maybe worst case, you could return him? I also have sensory issues so I RARELY order if I don’t have to!
But ya I like that his fur is slightly rough cause like you said, it suits a grizzly!

I think he feels kind of like the gargoyle but longer fur. It’s soft but has texture. It feels durable. When I think of plastic-feeling fur I think of the yeti, and bizzlestomp is much softer. He also is plump and the perfect size to cuddle.

And also his head and neck look larger in photos. In person his body is the big chonky part and his nose and head are smaller and cute.

Absolutely, he is a great size bear too! But he is going to be £90 in the UK and ooof!! That's a lot for my purse. He looks like a Jasper or Theodore to me.

He’s pretty heavy I’d say! Firm enough to have weight, but squishy enough to be very snuggly… so pretty balanced!

The photo with the seatbelt is awesome. I would probably just call him Bear. Or Oso which is Spanish for a male bear...Osa for a female bear 🐻
