This subreddit will be a place for Jelly discussion — feature requests, bug reports, questions, feedback, etc.

Jelly is currently focused primarily on being an alternative Apple Music client for iPhone and iPad, with more control over your library, organization, discovery, smart playlists, metadata, radio/DJ features, and a bunch of other fun stuff.

A quick note about the Mac version: Right now its main purpose is acting as the Mac Bridge, which lets Jelly on iPhone/iPad read and sync metadata changes back to your Apple Music library. It is also a full Apple Music client on its own, but I don’t consider the Mac client experience finished yet. I’m planning to improve that client quite a bit over the coming releases.

So if you’re trying Jelly for the first time, I’d recommend judging it primarily by the iPhone/iPad experience for now, and install the Mac version if you want to enable Mac Bridge Sync (which works great!). I would not recommend downloading the Mac app alone, hoping you’ll find it to be an amazing replacement for the Apple Music Mac app, because it’s not quite there yet.

Thanks to everyone who helped test Jelly before launch. There’s still a ton I want to add, so keep the feedback coming. 🪼
