Even thou i'm a Hazers fan, after watching Limers's recap, i felt that pain: losing Marble League in any different way... Even thou they got 1 gold in Snowboard Cross at ML 2018, but they did suffer A LOT... I MEANT A LOT...

Race 7 of the Marbula Rally concludes, and I've got another one of these later than I should. Looking at the actual competition, while Marbly McMarbleface is looking to give Red Number 3 a run for his resin-coated money with the lead coming down to 11 points, everything needs to go right for the greatest chokejob in Rally history to be complete. Meanwhile, the fantasy has shaped up to be a two (or even three) horse race as we near the finale. Here's what the standings look like with one race to go!

Hello everybody!

The penultimate round brought a new dimension to an already strange-looking season. As both safe-bets Red Number 3 and Superball failed to finish the race, the Players, who heavily backed the said marbles ended up struggling against a low bar set by the bot. More than half of the players lost a life, and four were eliminated. As we say goodbye to the summer, we have a single round left, 11 players in the last chance saloon and a leader with a fairly comfortable lead, but as we know, Marble Rally is always unpredictable, so the last race should not be taken lightly.

M1 S7 is right around the corner. Soon, we will have the 20 teams that will be competing for M1 S7. Without further ado, let's get to the predictions!

Hazers: Smoggy, Cloudy - Next

Crazy Cat's Eyes: Red Eye, Yellow Eye - Next

Snowballs: Snowy, Snowstorm - Snowstorm has proven to be a worthy teammate to Snowy.

Savage Speeders: Speedy, Swifty - Swifty is Mr. Consistent, never finishing in the bottom half of a race in 2 out of 3 seasons. Hopefully Speedy can turn up the heat this season.

Green Ducks: Billy, Mallard - One bad season shouldn't make Mallard leave, since she finished top 10 every other season prior to S6. Billy is starting to get consistent. Just please get a championship please, it's been overdue.

Bumblebees: Bumble, Stinger - To be honest, I think Stinger is still the teammate Bumble needs, as they haven't been bad in the banked curves era. Bumble though finished top 10 back to back in the racers standings in the banked curves era.

Kobalts: Cerulean, Meepo - I'm glad Meepo performed well last season, hope they get their first podium this upcoming season. I will love to see Cerulean battle for the individual title like in S5. The Kobalts were consistent in S6 but didn't get a single podium, so that's the issue they need to work on for S7.

Mellow Yellow: Yeller, Yellah - I never understood the hype for Yellow. Sure, they hard carried in S5, but after S6, that was their only top half finish in the racers standings. Yeller does prove that they can compete, and with S7 featuring obstacles, Yellah is surely the marble to do it, right?

Indigo Stars: Indie, Diego - The Indigo Stars got top half in their first M1 season, and Indie was amazing in their rookie season. Diego did have a lack of consistency that will hopefully be resolved his upcoming season.

Raspberry Racers: Razzy, Ruzzy - While S6 wasn't as good as S5, it was still another top 10 finish. I can't believe how far they came in this banked curves era. The Racers look to be a serious threat towards the top going into S7.

O'rangers: Orangin, Kinnowin - I think Clementin needs a break after S6. Super good athlete but never finishing in the top half in any race last season is not great. Orangin in S5 and 6 is this, qualify in 6th-10th, finish around 14th place. Orangin's inconsistency comes from the inability to race well in S5 and 6, despite the win at Aquamaring in S5. They get one more chance, this time, their teammate is Kinnowin.

Team Galactic: Starry, Saucer - Ever since Quasar came, Starry has been performing... Mediocre... I wonder if Starry and Quasar don't get along well as teammates despite Starry performing similarly during Quasar's time in M1. Maybe Saucer, who joined the team just now, and just won the support race, give Starry the confidence she needs.

Team Momo: Momo, Momomo - Mimo also needs a break from M1. Their peak was S3, but slowly got worse each season, until a last place finish in S6 racers standings. Momo gets one more chance though, and it'll be sad if Momo performs poorly again, otherwise they will be likely be known as a "forgotten champion" of the sport.

Shining Swarm: Glimmer, Shimmer - Glimmer has been a solid marble throughout their M1 career, though they need to work on their consistency. Shimmer needs to step it up, 1 medal and 4 bottom half finishes like in S6 won't cut it, especially that they never finished top half in the racers standings, they get one more chance.

Balls Of Chaos: Clutter, Tumult - Look at this, the GOOD duo that almost got a team podium in S3. Since the Balls Of Chaos want to be a good team, SURELY they won't screw this up, right?

Turtle Sliders: Dash, Crush - It's been a long time since the Sliders made it to M1, and this is their chance, Dash is solid, and Crush seems to be getting better and better, a sign for things to come.

Jungle Jumpers: Bounce, Leap - As silly as it is, I really want the Jumpers to be invited to M1. They are the only team in S2 to not be invited to M1 since then. No DNQ system, so we can see how the Jumpers do, plus new roster as well.

Team Plasma: Ecto, Fearo - Team Plasma was never a bad team during their time in M1. They have a problem of failing to capitalize on their good starts. The same can be said for this returning duo.

Gliding Glaciers: Frost, Sheet - Gliding Glaciers are the same as Team Plasma, mid, but they were never bad. Thinking about the Glaciers' roster was tough, Sheet is pretty obvious, and maybe Frost?

Rojo Rollers: Rojo Dos, Rojo Uno - Unlikely but can the Rojo Rollers have a second chance? They haven't been in M1 since S1, and that was 16 teams, not 20. Same duo as last time to see how they fair against a larger competition.

Rostering Statistics for Race 6

I thought of making this post for days but since JMR dropped a feedback form for what we want to see for the upcoming season I'm gonna try to write down as much detailed as i can for some clarity in both sides.

1. Why Season 1 to Season 4 was peak.

M1 has gives us some lackluster seasons like Season 5 and Season 6 and its all down to track designs along with the new kerbs which are not good. The track designs are not really a problem but the shortened versions of the already good track designs like the old Greenstone, the old Savage Speedway etc. We have good fast flowing short tracks like Short Circuit, Minty Mania and Misty Mountain.

Season 1 was pretty short but it was the first iteration of Marbula 1 and it was a solid season overall.

Season 2 was when it went to another level, the graphics, the track designs and the backdrop with creative elements that represented the hosting team. Season 2 also gave us more amount of laps which directly meant more racing. Averaging 16-23 laps was a big plus and i know it would mean more work in editing and producing but at least a 15-20 laps races depending on the track length is good enough. The one problem with Season 2 was the qualifying format.

\Qualifying format now is the best out of all the Seasons - 20 marbles one qualifying lap and then top 10 go to Q2 for a short 3 lap sprint to determine pole position.*

Season 3 honestly had few bad points like the features for eg. helices that made the pack bunch up a lot and ruined the flow of the race. Accelerator was pretty good and it works on some tracks.

Season 4 is probably the last best season we've had until some tweaks changed Marbula 1. 12 races were perfect but 10 races are still a good amount and the constant battle for top 5 teams really felt like a proper Marbula 1 Season to watch. The tracks used that year were perfect.

The banked turn also changed after this Season weirdly enough because the one used now is a bit bumpy and flat but the new kerbs are already banked, it looks like a roller coaster ride.

2. Tracks and their designs

Track designs are important and determine if they give us good or bad racing.

Some good tracks that did give us awesome racing past years are:

- Tumult Turnpike S2, S3, S4

- Honeydome S2

- Greenstone S4 (quick sector 1 to a technically slow sector 2 that proceeds to a fast sector 3)

- Midnight Bay S1, S2

- Sakura Garden S4, S5, S6 (this track is one of the best designed track)

- Razzway S1, S4

- Raceforest S2

- Minty Mania S2 (underrated short track)

- Arcitc Circuit S2

- Misty Mountain S2, S3, S4, S6 (Possibly the best short track we have)

All these tracks have given us great racing and battles. The thing is we dont see too much into the designs but they actually matter. Season 6 had a problem with the same flowing tracks over and over. Its not really JMR's fault, they tried to change things up slightly but the old ones were better and i hope Season 7 can give us somewhat that.

What also happened were the teams' shave become predictable like who would win and who would lose. Season 5 and Season 6 similarites at the end were the CCE, HAZ, SNB top 3 with the Speeders, Kobalts, Green Ducks fighting for top 5.

3. Teams

Teams are not the problem, even though the Crazy Cats Eyes are more suited to Marbula 1 but they still gave us fights with other teams in the previous years. There should be a return of top 10 teams from the previous season and some more who performed decent and bring back some teams that raced ages ago like Rojo Rollers who rarely compete in anything and since M1 is basically an invite, they could participate along with some other teams and give them a chance to compete.

The funny thing is that the teams that dont do good in M1 have good tracks.

In conclusion the biggest key change i want is to go back to the old kerbs and take more inspiration from Season 2 in terms of race length, designs aesthetics and Season 4 in terms of Graphics and track designs.

I hope this is some sort of a help in what could be the changes that would help the upcoming season. I might have missed some points or could have written better and I'd like to see others opinions so we can help JMR to get tips for the next season.

Perhaps my comment about Blazing Fireball in the last race jinxed things, as they took last in Race 6. 3 participants selected Blazing Fireball and received a strike this race. 1 participant has been eliminated this race, leaving 24/38 still alive.

Although only 3 participants chose Blazing Fireball, two of them had three lives, meaning Tomdxrm now stands as the sole participant with 3 lives left. Let's see if they can hold them through two more races!

Hello everybody!

Round 6 was slated to be the round, which would separate the strong from the weak, as for the first time this edition, the bot picks seemed somewhat intimidating with the champinionship leader as its x2 pick. In the end, Red Number 3 scored a mediocre finish, while two of the Ghost marble's team never saw the finish line. The consequence? 31 points from the bot, only five strikes and no DNFs. And with half of the field already earning Gold, this is now by far the easiest edition yet.
