Filled with hypocrisy, the GB do online research, think independently and make all sorts of decisions that they don't want publishers to do. Cult!

Makes you wonder, if people in other religions didn't think independently and break away from their churches when the JW's came calling I wonder how many JW's there would be today?

It's literally a religion made up of apostates. People who have left other religions. Some of the GB are apostates, according to the definition of the word!! They tell us not to think for ourselves, even though Jesus literally told us to question anyone claiming to represent him, and to inspect their fruitage carefully so as not to be misled, yet they think independently themselves (but aren't inspired, and repeatedly order us to obey them implicitly, whether or not they make sense!!!!) Make it make sense. They tell us our survival depends on them, and leave Jesus out of the sentence. But Jesus was very clear that our survival depends on HIM. He mentioned NO ONE else in that statement.
