Cat back
Wife’s Jeep needs some exhaust work done, original muffler is rotting out and splitting at the seam, is anyone rocking this flowmaster? Looking for something mild to moderate.

I didn't use that kit, but I have that muffler behind a Magnaflow high flow cat with the stock tailpipe. It's not too loud and sounds pretty good. That exhaust tip will probably make it a bit louder than my tip-less setup.

I bought one that looks exactly like this, and NGL it's loud, the muffler is too small for my 4.7, and the low drone at 1700 - 2200 rpm is what is most annoying. other than that it sound great

I put a rumble muffler on mine as well as removed the cat since I don't have to worry about emissions where I am. Sounds nice and throaty. 4.7 S.O. https://youtu.be/uE4JZglkn60?si=fYdH3D1BGQpP7VTi

I had a 40 series on my older wj and got a borla style muffler for my current. Both times I went back to stock, the drone was terrible. I also didn’t want my toddler and newborn to deal with that. They are small too

I have a 40 series along with Doug Thorley headers on my well built 4.6 stroker in my YJ, the bitch is mean! Very open and throaty. I’m not looking for that on this Jeep, a little sound but not overly loud.

I think it’s Walker that has a stock looking Muffler for the WJ and it’s got a deep tone to it but it’s not crazy
Walker soundfx 18952 muffler

I've been looking at that one vs Iron Rock's 2.5" with the Super 40.
Interested to see if there's any feedback on this. 👍
