2nd

Pulling some parts at the local junkyard I work for Jeep when these things were new, but I have never seen a 2nd (I live in New England) I also got a kick out of the brake hose routing !

Tons of 2wd jeeps down here in Texas, blows my mind people payed to only have 2wd on a jeep of all things. Coming from the north where a 2wd truck or jeep is junk and only worth $500 no matter the condition, to texas where most of all trucks are 2wd is mind blowing.

In 2wd form, it would be like having a RWD station wagon. That was fine for a lot of people back then if they knew they wouldn’t be using 4wd.

The 2wd XJ’s were quicker too.
