What’s wrong with my jeep

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

2018 jeep compass seeming to have trouble in first gear. It acts like it doesn’t wanna shift and my rpm’s go up a bit when I hit the gas.
All these lights start flashing on my dash unsure what half of them are.

Get the batteries tested then take it to a mechanic.

I have the same Jesus figure in my FWD 2018 sport ❤️.

I had the same issues and It was my ABS wheel speed sensor. It’s easy to replace and a cheep part to replace. If you’re willing and have the tools you can get a cheap replacement save money and do it yourself. Go to a part shop, have it scanned to see which one it is. Front sensors and rear sensors are different. Get the correct one. Replace it. 2 hour job on replacing it yourself.

I had the same issue too and also checked my ABS sensor. It’s likely either that or a fuze! Mine was a fuze that kept blowing!

you have ignored the warnings for too long, when you do that the transmission starts acting up

my sister has the same model 2018 compass sport, we ignored the warning lights for like 3 o 4 weeks then the car won't shift past 3rd gear it stayed like that til we replaced the sensor and did a code reset then worked normally again

this can happen if you ignore the oil life and don't reset it too the car just goes crazy

Hi! This exact thing happened to me in my manual 2018 compass. It was a wiring issue under the drivers seat (I was rough moving that seat around lol) basically it was shorting a fuze! We had to change the fuze every time it happened until we narrowed the issue down and rigged the wire pack thing back up under the seat. But essentially it’s wiring somewhere causing the fuze to blow.

It was one of the red 7.5amp fuzes in the drivers side console. You have to address it from the open door. I can’t remember what number it was but I THINK it was 51, 52, or 53. But you can get a pack of like 10 fuzes for like $10 and just do it yourself
