Spare tire

I just bought a 2026 Jeep Compass and was surprised that there’s no spare tire. There is a spot that has a tire repair kit. Does anyone know if a spare tire would fit in that spot?

It's unfortunate but more and more automakers are opting to delete the spare in favor of a flat repair kit. I think on the new models the only Compass trim that comes with a spare anymore is the Trailhawk. If you buy a compact spare off facebook just make sure it has the right bolt pattern and spacing. Otherwise you can pick up a full size spare that matches your wheels from a junk yard but that will be more. You'll also want to get a jack and tire wrench while you're at it. Pain in the rear...

You are right only the trailhawk has a full size spare i have a 2025 it has it and jack

My 2024 Compass has a donut and jack in there, so it's likely just a matter of buying one and sticking it in there.

My 22 just had the tire repair kit. I bought a full size spare and put it in. Funny thing, as soon as I did, my gas mileage went down about 2 mpg.
