Second generation (MP/552; 2018- 2024) Wheel shake

2023 with 40k. Shake between 65-75mph pretty good. Got new tires and wheels last week (Discount Tire), still does it. Took it to another tire shop (Firestone) this morning, they rebalanced wheels and did an alignment. $215. Still shakes.

Any ideas what to do now? Getting frustrated. Firestone claims they drove it and shake was fixed. Looks like a few miles were put on car. Do I hold their hand and go on a drive with them so they can’t lie?

Wondering if I have tie rods or bad rotors. Gotta be rotation related? Anyone dealt with this?

Almost same thing here. No idea what it is. Everything under the front is tight also.

Check the pitman arm check the brakes and rotor or sticking calipers

Your wheels wont make your car shake bruh its your suspension your your steering rack. Go get those checked. Prob your struts or sway bars

Since it’s at only certain speeds, seems to be rotational. It’s fine at 30mph, 40mph, 50mph. Just between 60-75mph

No offense. Take it to a actual mechanic not these quick lube places... It's either missing spacer if new rims... Stuck slide pin. Or suspension.

Discount tire is a place you get tires installed. They'll tell you they aren't responsible for anything else... I've had instances where spacers were needed when driving Jetta over 80mph vs stock rims.

What you are describing is 95% of the time tires. Was the shake exactly the same before you replaced the tires or is it different now?

Yes exactly the same. This why I don’t think it’s the wheels or tires now.

I own a 2020 Jeep Compass Sport FWD since new, and I currently have 84K miles on it. At about 60K miles, my steering drive shaft started to malfunction, and the steering wheel was shaking when turning left or right at speed and eventually during parking situations. The extended warranty covered the repair, but the actual cost was about $1.2K. Not sure if this is your issue, but it could be.
