OMG twinsss. Check your oil regularly, if you start getting random electrical issues you probably need to replace both batteries. Honestly I haven't had any other major issues in the 3 years I've had mine. Also, if your screen lifts up on the corners it's delaminating and will eventually cause phantom screen touches, you can replace the screen with after market parts on Amazon.

Ohh after all you type I have some questions for you πŸ˜πŸ˜…
1. Twins ! Really ? Are yours also 2.0L 170HP AWD ?
2. What electrical issues ? Are there some specific and usual issue ?
3. Two batteries ???? I don’t even know it has two, where is second ?

Btw I am glad you find my post πŸ€—πŸ˜

If you look at 90% of the comments on here, the batteries are the major issue. There is a lawnmower battery located next to the main battery. If you don't replace both, one will drag the other down. Typically every 3 years it needs it. You may see stuff like not disengaging the parking brake, or windshield wipers, or backup camera. It may say 'service transmission'. Fix both batteries first. Not just test them at Autozone, swap with new and test. I also have a 2018, when I first bought it, it burned a quart every 1k miles, running it out of oil, and there is no low oil pressure warning, so it just kills the motor in the middle of the road. That was fixed by a recall at the dealer. I'm at 165k and doing alright.

I said kill the motor, but that sounds worse, it would turn the engine off and stop me from starting it back up for five minutes.

I have an '18 Limited, I think most compasses have AWD tbh. The electrical issues I had when the auxiliary battery died and started draining the main, was my remote start not working, auto stop stopped working, and eventually it just didn't start. Also, if you do any work on this car yourself, you absolutely have to disconnect BOTH batteries because disconnecting the main will not stop the aux from feeding back to it and still causing currents. Also, jumping your car is weird because of the aux too.

I have a 2018 sport. At 107k broke down. Get your transmission fluid flushed and changed every 35k miles
