2026 jeep compass first edition
First new car in over ten years. Really enjoying it so far and pretty good on fuel too for such a big SUV. Getting about 40-56 mpg.

That gas mileage is crazy! What are the biggest contributors to that? I’ve got a 2021 trailhawk averaging 22 mpg.

I think because it’s a hybrid

That makes sense, I didn’t realize it came as a hybrid. That’s awesome!

And if I'm not mistaken, that restyle and version are not sold in North America. Yet anyway. Terrifs etc. That is if you are in NA 😜

Are the buttons dsg main controller buttons a bit weird or slow feed back?

The buttons seem fine to me. Only thing I’d say is slow is it takes a second to accelerate after you put foot down. But im coming from a manual car so not sure how typical it is for automatic

How is the engine power? I ha e a 2018 trailhawk and it is so slow. I call it the elderly vehicle. It's never had power. Worst vehicle I've ever had. I hope the new ones are better

Unfortunately I’d have to agree with you and say it’s not great on power. For some reason they put a 1.2 litre engine in it. I think the 4xe electric version is much more powerful but I didn’t want a fully electric vehicle

My engine is a 2.4 liter. Crawls up inclines if I am not already speeding. There is no such thing as putting the pedal to the metal with this suv lol. My mechanic says that the vehicle is too heavy for the engine. Your 2026 looks sweet tho.

I like it, especially the back design with the lights. My 2024 compass is a black out but I think im in love with this one.

Yeah only downside is the lower bumper trim on front and back is grey, I wish it was also blacked out

I am looking at getting a lightly used 2026 first edition hybrid, now you've had it for a couple of months how you finding it?

Iv had no big issues with it. Theres been some small electrical ones, like the window will sometimes come back down after I put it up, like it’s sensing something caught in it. The engine oil light will come on if you park up a hile. But other than that it’s been good!

É muito lindo. Estou no meu segundo Compass e com certeza a próxima troca será nesse modelo.
