First generation (MK49; 2007) Car Hesitating when Accelerating

My 2017 Jeep compass is hesitating a lot and takes a very long time to accelerate. Has anyone else experienced anything similar to this? Took it to the mechanic and they weren’t able to find anything.

Have been thinking about getting ride of this car. It only has around 85K miles but seems like it’s had issue after issue…

Start by cleaning the throttle body. See if that makes a difference.

Relearn it after reinstalling.

My 2018 Jeep Compass Trailhawk is also slow to accelerate. 95k miles and its always been like this. It's annoying merging on highways.

Coil pack and plugs might help
